My daughter loves the book and looks forward to time when her sister is not around so we can choose another activity. I bought this for my 9 year-old daughter. The book contains great activities and conversation starters- all of which encourage open communication in a fun and relaxed way.
It is a great way to get to know your daughter and for daughter to know Mom. This book gave my daughter and granddaughter some great time together.
And when we are done, we will have a keepsake of our time and what we talked about. My daughter is 7 yr old and she likes doing the activities together. It would be a good gift to give another family as well. This is a nice book to get your daughter. You can pull it out every few evenings and do one or two pages together.
It is an inspiration for the busy mom who wants to make their daughter feel special and share a little with each other while they follow the instructions in the book. This little book is filled with all sorts of things that mothers and daughters will love. A good buy and perfect gift to give and share. So far, nothing is complicated, and I have found many activities good for different ages. My little girl is almost 5 and she is so excited to get out this book and do an activity. So far, we have only done the quizes and a modified version of a food order where she takes down what I want for dinner and she makes it for me like a waitress and chef.
Anything American Girl is guaranteed to be wonderful and we've never been let down ordering any of their items. I got this book for my 9 year old for Christmas and it's fun doing the activities together and just spending time together. She enjoys it because it's just her and I without her little sisters right there joining in too.
